Oz is a small resort nestling in the pine trees of the Eau d’Olle Valley, linked to the vast Grandes Rousses and the Alp d’Huez ski area. Accommodation, shops and services are all located in an area reserved for pedestrians and skiers...no need for a vehicle in Oz.  The resort is small and parents are not afraid to let their children play outside after skiing.

Alpe d’Huez, which is connected to Oz, is considered a good all round resort, diverse with a modern lift system.  All levels of skier should find something there to challenge them with 2220m vertical drop and a 16 km black run considered two of the biggest attractions.  Off-piste skiing is excellent, with decent snowfalls, beautiful scenery and sunnier than average weather.  Boarders will enjoy exploiting the off-piste options, as well as their own park, which has a very good half-pipe.  The high altitude of the Alpe d’Huez guarantees good snow coverage and there are more than 700 snow making machines allowing you to ski all the way back to Alpe d’Huez and Oz village.
